Why Hello There!

Hi hi! Happy summer guys! Did I lure you into reading this article because my thumbnail is adorbs? Or is it because I'm adorbs? Feel free to question your motives if you're currently in between a rock and a hard place on that one, *winky winky* #don'tbestinky... #rhyming #reapplythedeodorant. Fine! I get it, you like the freaking baby who doesn't tell you you smell! I hope you all are doing well, I've had a lovely summer so far. I can't believe it's almost August! You know how people always make fun of the girls on Twitter who are like, " Oh my Gawd, Can you believe it's May already?" Well, I have no shame in admitting that that is me, and when fall rolls around you best believe I will be enjoying pumpkin spice in every conceivable way. I'm talking pumpkin spice granola bars, pumpkin pie, candles, you name it! Although, I don't think I will be participating in the whole fall photoshoot thing girls post on social media. Not because it's bad, but it would just be strange to me if I saw a grown woman spread across 5 pumpkins and her friend is standing in a wheelbarrow to get the angle where she looks skinniest yelling slay. It kinda just looks like you fell ass-backward on a pile of pumpkins and are too proud to pull yourself. Who knows though! I'm quite clumsy, so nothing is completely off the table when it comes to me.

Honestly, I'm going to start entering rooms that way and see what happens. Best case scenario somebody gives me a hug, worst case I pitch slap a vegetable. Gosh, I love Pitch Perfect. Pitch slap is a reference from that movie for those of you who don't get the reference... hehe losers. I watched it yesterday at my friend Georgia's house. I wish I could say I'd be Fat Amy, but I know in my heart I'm just a Chloe. Does anyone else assign characters to other people while watching TV? Like, hey sibling, can I be the Swiper to your Dora and maybe take a field trip to your room? No, we can't. Gosh, and you said it three times! Well...TV can be educational, let's learn about the former presidents and check out your wallet instead! I think Jackie from That Seventies Show and I share similar mannerisms so it's always funny to watch her.

Speaking of toughening up when I didn't want to, I started running so I could do cross country. Except for this week, it is WAY too hot this week to run. This week is for ice cream. So instead of running my booty off, I decided I'd get a second job. I am now working at the Park and Recreation Center and taking little kids on field trips. I had to do this whole training thing today and watch how to recognize and handle bullying, sexual harassment, other fun things, etc. Apparently, they feel disengaging and seeking help from an adult is the best technique to diffuse those situations. Although at Salvatores, my current job, when people are screaming at me and asking why their pizza isn't done yet, I like to say, " I don't know. Why are you yelling at the sixteen-year-old working the front end, weirdo." Even when I try to help them it doesn't even work sometimes. One time a vegetarian came in and aggressively asked me why there were no cheese slices. Apparently "Pick it off," wasn't the answer he was looking for. I'm glad I got properly trained though because I'm pretty sensitive and there have been times when I've stuffed a cookie in my pocket, went to the back, and cried on a trash can until the mean customers left. LIKE A BOSS!

When I'm 2 hours in, a 45-year-old man has asked me on a date, a woman on the phone swears that the computer is wrong and it is my responsibility to fulfill her inapplicable discount, and there are approximately 1.50 cents in that damn tip jar:

I LOVE MY JOB THOUGH! Everyone is very nice and I basically get to read and listen to music while I eat their food. Very nice. Besides, I like hanging out and this summer has really taken a toll on my bank account. Anyways, that's what is up with me, as I said previously this week is for ice cream so don't be shy and hit me up with that mint chocolate chip!
